I decided that I’m going to take this weeks poll in a different direction. All the polls that I’ve posted in the past have been mostly serious. We need a little splash of Hawaiian shirt Friday around here. So this week I pose the age old question, Pirates or Ninjas?
Now, you may be wondering what this has to do with Macs or Apple for that matter. To be honest, I really don’t know. I leave that to your imagination. Do Pirates and Ninjas relate to Bill Gates and Steve Jobs in some off the wall comparison. Or better yet, which would use a mac? Pirates like the booty and Macs are all about sex appeal. But the sleek Apple design would definitely appeal to a Ninja. Its a toss up. I’d love to hear how you think Pirates and Ninjas relate to Apple/Macs. It’s all up to debate!
Now, on with the results of the last poll…
The previous poll here on Keynote 2 Keynote, pleased me. The results, displayed above, show that the readership here at K2K is quite varried. The readers have owned anywhere from 1 to 5+ Macs. There are even a handful of haters amongst us, don’t worry, I know where they sleep! Anyways, of those who voted, 57% of the readers are total fanatics and have owned 5+ macs. To those of you in this category I present to you the following AppleGeeks comic :)

Are you web 2.0 millionaire with a dozen macs and another couple dozen outdated models in your basement? Or are you an average joe running your first Mac? I thought it would be nice to find out just how many Macs the readers of Keynote2Keynote have owned. I know that some of you are seasoned veterans, while others just recently made the switch. So enlighten me!
Now, onto the results of the previous poll…
This was sort of how I expected the results to turn out. There were mixed feelings about the AppleTV when it was announced at MacWorld. Even now, after the release of the AppleTV, opinions are so so. I’m still on the fence. While I like the concept of the gadget, I don’t see it as a must have toy. Maybe if I had $299 to spare then I’d consider purchasing one to play with. I think that others might be in the same boat as myself.
I hope the AppleTV doesn’t turn out to be a flop :( I wouldn’t count out the AppleTV just yet. After a few revisions and a couple new feature additions maybe feelings will change and the AppleTV will become a common household appliance. After all, the first gen iPod got mixed reviews… and look where it is now.

Since the AppleTV was recently released I thought it would be nice to find out who bought one or who is planning on buying one. I’m still on the fence. Can’t decide if I really need one or not. How about you?
I left the last poll, “When Will You Upgrade To Leopard?”, posted for almost 2 weeks. It seems that most of you guys/gals will be upgrading to Leopard on release day. Although its probably a joke, there were 2 people who are sticking to OS 9! If its true thats awesome :) Someone’s gotta keep the old school OS alive!
Looking back at the Leopard poll I wish I would have added another option. There wasn’t an option for upgrading a few months after release. Had there been, I imagine that the results would have turned out a bit differently.
Thanks to everyone who cast their vote! Make sure to check out the new poll :)

Its been a little over a week so I decided throw up a new poll. It seems that its unaminous that everyones favorite iLife application is iTunes. I sort of predicted this since music/iPods are so popular. I figured that iPhoto would have gotten a few more votes.

I retired the old poll today and replaced it. This time around I’d like to find out what everyone’s favorite iLife application is. I have my opinion, but I’d like hear yours!
