My MacBook Pro Takes Its Maiden Voyage at Keynote 2 Keynote

Airplane I’m in the midst of moving right now and heading out of town in a few hours. This will be the first trip I’ve taken with my MacBook Pro, so I should have some neat stuff to write about. I’ve got all my peripherals packed up and ready to rock. It’ll take me more or less about 2 days to get to my new home. Hopefully I’ll be able to find some net access in the airport along the way :) I’m kind of excited to run around the airport with my TRENDnet HotSpot Detector and seeing what I can find. Hopefully the TSA people don’t try to put me in handcuffs or anything, lol.

Another thing that I’m really excited to play around with on the way is GeekTool. I installed it last night and have been having an awesome time playing around with it. You can do some amazing stuff with it. I’ll have a nice writeup about the sweet customizations you can accomplish with GeekTool posted when I get some net access.

Till then, wish me luck on my journeys and I’ll have lots of neat things to report back to you all when I get home!

good luck on the trip and the move… my macbook has yet to leave on a real trip… oh, it went to jersey with me, but i was driving and not flying.

i had to buy the lady a windows laptop because that is what she wanted, but it sucks and she still does things like itunes on my mac…

then i was like use your stupid pc… she is like it acts funny out of sleep… than i am like should’ve got a mac… hehe….

I am taking a trip soon and it will be my first trip with my black mac. will be spending about 24 hrs on the flight!

Yep, headed back up to Alaska for the summer. I just can’t stay away. The summers are just too amazing to pass up. I’m half way there now, made a pit stop in Seattle to get a few things straitened out.
