Favorite iLife Application Poll Results

Powered by Gregarious (39)

Its been a little over a week so I decided throw up a new poll. It seems that its unaminous that everyones favorite iLife application is iTunes. I sort of predicted this since music/iPods are so popular. I figured that iPhoto would have gotten a few more votes.

I would just like to point out that iTunes is not an iLife application.

I didn’t think that it was either. But I went to the official iLife website when I was creating the poll and it said that iTunes was part of iLife.

I got iLife when I bought my MacBook Pro. I don’t know if iTunes is included when you buy the iLife disc, but it would be interesting to find out.

No, when i bought iLife ‘06 it was just iphoto, iweb, garageband, imovie, and idvd. iTunes comes with the computer and is available for free download at any time.

It sounds like Apple just added iTunes to iLife oh a whim. Its the only free application in the suite. Its also the only one apple makes money with… well iPhoto has those books/calendars/cards, but I’m sure those aren’t a big cash cow.

Interesting how that one works out, their most profitable in the suite is free whilst everything else isnt, maybe they should make imovie free =D

I wish that everything was just included with each OS X upgrade :) Getting iLife 07 with Leopard would be sweet!

True, i say the easiet thing to do in that case is just split it with someone, or someone whos getting a new mac will have it and just to take it from them. But it would be a lot ccooler if it just came with every OSX update.
