“I’m a Mac” Skit On The Now Show at Keynote 2 Keynote

The Mac Vs PC saga continues, this time over seas on a popular UK based radio show. “I’m a Sinclair ZX 81 and I’m a Space Invader Machine in the pub.” The comedy through out The Now Show’s ‘I’m a Mac’ bit is just golden. OK, no more spoilers… Have a listen for yourself :)

“Ahhhh, I’ve been hit by a SPAM email!” One of the funniest audio only “I’m a Mac” spin offs I’ve heard in a long time. I think I could watch/listen home brewed Mac ad campaign spoofs all day. I’ve you’ve got any recommendations I’d love to check them out!

very funny…
i guess we can only be dorks if we find this sort of stuff funny.
i ended up buying 2 cameras this weekend. a canon and a sony.
what sony do you have again?
i got a sony dscw55p i think for the lady. the p stands for pink.
it takes great pics.
i also picked up a canon sd5500 for myself because my canon s2 is just to big to carry around.
i went with LowePro cases.
I ebay’d my S2, and am hoping to get a couple of bucks for it to cover the price of the my sd550.
i am amazed what there lil guys can do.
i hope to start my blogger soon.
i am thinking of using either blogger.com or .mac that i already have.
on another front though, i am the newly appointed vice-president and ambassador of the Charlotte North Carolina Mac Users Group.

I have the Sony DSC-N1. Its a great little camera. small enough to not be a burden, but the 8 megapixels really pack a punch. The screen on it is also larger than any camera I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen that pink Sony camera in stores. Every time I walk by it with my wife she says… “ooohhhhh, why didn’t we get that one?” Then I cringe at the thought of what my friends would say when I whipped it out to snap a few pics! Good thing you got yourself a camera as well :) I’m sure you’ll enjoy both of them.

Congrats on the newly appointed positions! I’m kinda on an extended vacation right now, but when I get home I was thinking about starting up a Mac Users Group in my town. I know quite a few people that use Macs, but I only know them through name, and not personally. So it would be a cool way to meet new people.

That sony looks sweet. I would have gotten it if i could find it.
the canon i got was sd550 for 199. it was a pretty amazing deal.
the pink sony is pretty fruity looking, but it takes great pictures and she seems to like it.
yeah, the local mac users group here rocks…
the people are cool and help each other out alot. i have only gone to 4 meetings and i am the new vice prez… we get free software from apple and other benefits which is cool.
do you have any pics posted that you took with your camera?

Sure thing, here’s a few that I took recently with the Sony DSC-N1. Thumbnail quality is crap, but thats just because of the image manager plugin I’m using on the site. If you click the pics you should get a much nicer image! I resized them and compressed them a bit. But for the most part they are almost as nice as the originals.

Sweet pics. did you do any altering or changing to them before posting?
i normally end up sharpening mine up.
i am starting to get into aperture and iphoto a bit more.
i am a tad bit jealous of the camera though. i was thinking about the 10.0mp canon that is the same size as mine, but i am not sure i could tell a difference other than the image stabilization.
i am also in the process of a format reload of my mac and then i am going to blog a full guide on what to do and how to do it.
as well as programs that i use and how.
i started a blog on my mac purchase, but have been a tad bit too busy at work to finish.

I didn’t do any processing to the images other than the resizing/compression to get the file size down. I have a 2GB memory stick in the camera so I tend to take a dozen pictures of the same thing. Some suck and some come out really nice. So I picked the best of the best to post on here.

Now you’ve got me thinking that I should get photoshop out and do some tweaking. But the only think I really know how to do is play with the levels/curves/brightness/contrast, beyond that I’m lost.

iPhoto’s ‘Enhance’ feature makes pictures look nice as well, but sometimes it makes the pics look a little fake or something. Maybe I’ll play around and see what I can come up with :)

i always end up doing a sharpness thing with the pics.
i am an artist, but just now starting to learn software art stuff.
so i am fumbling through finding a good resource.
