I ran across this picture today and all I can say is WOW! I mean, I feel bad for the MacBook Pro and all, but it probably saved someones life. Does that make the owner a slave to the MBP till the favor is returned? Its amazing the machine still boots up. I’ve never taken my MacBook Pro apart, but I imagine that only the trackpad got damaged, but I could be wrong.

I’m surprised that the mugger left without the machine… or maybe he didn’t. I don’t know if the photographer is on the offensive or defensive end of the mugging.

In addition to the trackpad, it looks like the CD slot droops on the left. Don’t know if the drive will work, ie. accept and eject.
You’re probably right. Also, the battery probably leaked acid everywhere since its located right under the trackpad. While the laptop still turns on, it’s pretty gimp.
